Maintenance and Operating Principle
Maintenance
1.Improper operation----When doing dental preparation, pressurize the burs endlessly, causing bearing wear, intermittent grinding techniques should be used.
2.The choice of burs----The bur shank of the turbine bur must be standardized. If the bur shank is too thin, sliding between the bur shank and the shaft sleeve can occur, which can increase the wear of the shaft sleeve, resulting in loose cradle pin or flying bur. The bur handle is too thick and damages the clamp shaft when loading and unloading the bur. Also need to promptly replace old boring burs that have been de-sanded
3.handpiece falls, deformation----In the daily work, the handpiece is not placed so well that it may fall or be crashed by the patient. The handpiece will deform and affect the service life.
Operating principle
1.Air rotates the turbine at the head (front) of the handpiece
The turbine consists of two miniature bearings, an impeller and a spindle/chuck assembly for fixing the drill.
2.Air is introduced into the handpiece through the foot pedal of the chair unit. The air flow connected to the back end of the handpiece passes through the handpiece casing and then enters the head of the handpiece. The force is forced through the turbine wheel at the head of the handpiece, causing the turbine to rotate.
3.After the air moves around the turbine wheel, it is forced out of the head and moves downwards through the housing of the handpiece and through the rear exhaust port of the handpiece.
